I had never met Rachael and Jonathan before their engagement session, but I just KNEW I would love them. Do you ever read an email, and think “I really like this person already?!” That is exactly how I felt about Rachael after her she contacted me about her October wedding at The Carriker Cottage . I imagined her as talented, graceful, talented person, and I was so right! She is an incredibly gifted food videographer, and artist! You should see her artwork on her instagram. Jonathan is a graphic designer, so naturally I am excited about all the details they are planning for their wedding day!

I am a hopeless romantic so Rachael and Jonathan’s love story is one of my favorites! They met in 6th grade and Rachael said she had a huge crush on Jonathan. Years later a mutual friend reconnected them when they were 18. They stayed in touch throughout the years as their graphic design careers developed. Last year Rachael reached out to Jonathan, and thanks to email and Facetime a friendship was rekindled and it blossomed into something beautiful. Jonathan proposed to Rachael July of this year….in their 6th grade classroom where they first met.

Rachael and Jonathan were so easy going, playful, and loving towards each other and I loved spending the day with them!
