Madeline described her wedding at Catawba Falls as southern elegance, and it turned out to be the most beautiful day! Even though we had a tiny bit of rain early on in the day, the clouds parted and the sun gave us some soft golden light!

Madeline and Brad chose to not do a first look and wanted Brad to see her for the first time when she was walking down the aisle. All my brides know that I encourage first looks for a few different reasons, but I never discourage couples when they chose to wait! Either way, seeing each other for the first on your wedding day is magical, and it truly was Madeline and Brad. Their ceremony was nestled in trees overlooking the Catawba River and decorated with the most stunning florals.

During the ceremony, the pastor asked the bridal party and guests to pray over the couple. It was such a surreal moment to witness all their loved ones joining together in prayer as Madeline and Brad started their lives together as a married couple.

When it came time for sunset photos, the light did not disappoint! Not only did we get some incredible photos on the lawn, but the photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. down by the water were also some of my favorites of the night!
