The Terrace at Cedar Hill

I absolutely love Kailey and Tom. The moment we first met on zoom I just knew that we were going to be a great fit. I found out that Tom worked at an insurance company I use to work for, and in the same county! In the middle of planning a wedding, Kailey was also finishing up medical school. We realized she knew one of my past brides who was also in residency! I may have said “what a small world” a few times!

They are one of those couples, that make you feel so loved when you are around them. There were SO MANY happy tears on their wedding day. Tom had quite possibly the best reaction I have ever seen during a first look! Grooms, let this be your sign that we love emotional first looks! Kaily was the most stunning and classy bride. I have been so blessed to truly have the most genuine and sweet couples.

I knew their wedding was going to be classic and beautiful. White, cream, sage, and hints of gold were how Kailey described her colors. They got ready at the Hyatt Place in Downton Charlotte. We did some really fun bridal party portraits on the rooftop.

After their ceremony, we headed over to the Terrace at Cedar Hill for their reception. They kicked off the night with a pretty amazing bridal party entrance! The dance floor opened up and everyone brought their best moves. People were on the dance floor until the last moment. An early evening called for a sparkler alternative. We chatted about some fun options, and they chose a fun ribbon wand exit.

Kaily and Tom, thank you again so much for being incredible and trusting me to document your day! I loved going through all your photos and reliving every moment! I wish you both the best in your new life together! Kailey, you are going to be an amazing doctor and Wake Forest is lucky to have you!
